8 iPhone tips that you should already know in 2020

© pexels Everything tech-related evolves at an overwhelming pace. Smartphones and their operating systems are no exception. Do you still remember the first iPhone that Apple released back in 2007? Look where we are now and how things have changed in just a little over ten years. Unless you are a tech geek who closely follows the industry’s developments and reads a handful of news articles every time, Apple pushes an update. There are probably a few useful iPhone features you’ve missed. Don’t worry; we’re here to help you catch up with some of them. Here are eight useful and cool iPhone tricks and tips you should know about!

    1. Prevent installed apps from asking for your feedback

So, you are using an app, and suddenly a pop-up notification appears on your screen asking you to leave your feedback. Well, if you were enjoying the app, you probably stopped doing it as soon as this notification appeared. Fortunately, you can disable this type of notifications in a few quick steps. Open the iPhone’s Settings, tap iTunes & App Store, and turn off In-App Ratings & Reviews. However, we encourage you to leave a positive review for your favorite apps, especially if they are not very popular.

    2. LED notifications

Sound notifications can quickly get really annoying (and even highly inconvenient in some cases). The good news is that you don’t need sound notifications to be notified of important messages or emails, for example. You can use visual cues instead! Go to Settings, tap Accessibility – Audio/Visual, and enable LED Flash for Alerts. Your iPhone will now blick when your device receives a notification while locked and silent.

    3. Hide private photos

Do you get extremely nervous every time you have to hand your smartphone to someone? You’re not alone.

If one of your biggest concerns is the private photos or videos you have stored there, you should know that you can hide any photos or videos you want. This will prevent your friends or family members from accidentally coming across a sensitive photo when sliding through the Photos app. An iPhone trick every user should be aware of. Open the Photos app, tap Select, and select all the photos/videos you want to hide, tap the Share icon, and then Hide. All selected files will be moved to the Hidden album, and you won’t find them in the Photos app anymore.
